Established in 1975, The Great Outdoors is a family run business and prides itself on its wealth of experience and excellent service. We are a unique and friendly shop, dedicated to making sure you get the right equipment for your next adventure in the outdoors.

Our Walking Department stocks a comprehensive range of waterproofs, boots, fleeces, rucksacks, trousers and anything else you may need for outdoor activities.

In the Winter, we stock a fantastic range of Ski Equipment for adults and children, catering for all budgets and including our exclusive Designer Ski Wear range. We also have an on site workshop and provide a dedicated Ski Boot Fitting service.
